Armand Bayou Nature Center promises an action-packed day with all of the activities they offer to the public. Environmental Learning Center
Make a pit stop and cool off at the environmental learning center on your way to the trailheads. Here, you can learn more about the different types of wildlife that call this place home. You can see displays of living reptiles, fish, and amphibians.
Relax in the Butterfly Garden
After stopping at the learning center, when you walk outside, you can immerse yourself in the beautiful butterfly garden that houses a variety of pollinator plants and a small frog pond.
Wildlife Watching
Bison, box turtles, and birds. Don’t forget to bring your binoculars to see all of the wildlife up close. Right when you start walking to the trails you will see alligators.
